MNN-NPO Connect Peer Mentoring Program

Nonprofit staff, board members, and other volunteers have an incredible wealth of knowledge, experiences, and skills. MNN-NPO Connect, a new peer mentoring service, is an exciting and completely new way to share that knowledge with peers throughout the region. Through this free, online service, participants connect to a peer (of their choice) who offers a specified skillset. Once connected, the peer mentorship develops offline—over coffee, over the phone, or over a worktable—at the participants’ convenience.

Since its November launch, more than 40 people have registered.  Matches have been made and expertise shared!

History of this unique service: The Metrowest Nonprofit Network was thrilled when NPO Connect’s creators—KWeill Consulting and Annkissam—invited us to pilot this program in Massachusetts. On behalf of all the Metrowest nonprofits who will benefit from this service, we thank Kenny Weill and Annkissam’s Gavin Murphy and Kevin Palmer for thoughtfully developing such an effective and innovative way to strengthen the sector.
